4 0 Master Class: The Industry’s A List Turned Out for Last Week’s Masters of Real Estate RoundtableIs it really as gloomy out there in the real estate market as conventional wisdom would have everyone believe? Not according to the attendees of last Wednesday’s Masters of Real Estate Roundtable, sponsored by The Commercial Observer and Fried Frank. The overwhelming consensus of those on the event’s three panels–covering the state of New York real estate, capital markets and opportunistic ventures–was that while the markets are not in the best shape at the moment, there also is no better time for savvy developers to act. And who in attendance at the Super Bowl of Real Estate could be considered anything but savvy?
