October is haunted house season–time to step into your very own horror flick at the Vortex Haunted House (115 W. 27th St.) Buyer beware: This is only for the hard-core–you have to walk through alone, wear a protective mask and, yes, they are allowed to touch you. All together now: shriiiiiiek (Oct. 12-15, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.).
