Good Morning, Pee-wee Herman!

You’re back!

Last night your show opened on Broadway, ending a thoroughly charming New York media blitz leading to your debut. And the reviews have been great!

Charles Isherwood said not too much has changed, and that’s a good thing. “Nobody wants to bite into a Pop Tart or a Twinkie for a surge of Proustian recollection and have it taste like a granola bar, after all,” he wrote.

Moreover, you’ve got a new movie coming up, to be produced by Judd Apatow. Here’s hoping he can handle working with a nostalgia-obsessed man child. We would have loved to see Tim Burton return to the helm, though. Helena Bonham Carter could have been your dark love interest.

But let’s not dwell on the past, right? Congrats!

Love,
