125 Broad Street
With plenty of hungry job seekers, the only recruiting most companies need to do these days is a Craigslist ad. But proving that its services are still in demand, TMP Worldwide Advertising and Communications has inked a deal for a new world headquarters.
The recruitment advertising company, formerly a subsidiary of Monster.com, will take 37,404 square feet for 10 years and 7 months. It will move its headquarters from 205 Hudson Street downtown to Mack-Cali Realty‘s 125 Broad Street.
“We’re delighted that this premier property continues to attract high-quality tenants like TMP Worldwide,” said Mitchell Hersh, Mack-Cali’s president, in a statement. The AIDS Vaccine Initiative also recently signed a 37,000-square-foot lease in the building.
Perhaps leading by example, the recruitment guru’s new home offers employees an outdoor seating area, backup day care and harbor views. It seems unlikely, howev er, that its virtuous fellow tenants, which include the American Civil Liberties Union and Sullivan & Cromwell LLP, will come knocking on their new neighbor’s door in search of an image makeover.
TMP was represented by Gerry Miovski, Barry Finkelman, Andrea Funsten and Christopher Mansfield of CB Richard Ellis, which also represented the landlord.
