The highly covered Spider-Man musical had its first preview last night, debuting for nearly 2,000 ticketholders and reporters.
It was uncertain that the preview would take place, due to some 11th hour kinks that still need to be worked out — The Times reports 12 hour rehearsals — but it’s a mark of confidence that producers are letting audiences finally see the show. And on the subject of schadenfreude, The Times has detailed nearly every last hiccup in the performance last night. Please enjoy.
