supermanundies The NYC Marathons 12 Wackiest CostumesIn terms of “who ran the fastest,” Ethiopian rookie Gebre Gebremariam took home the men’s win at the New York City Marathon this past Sunday, and Kenya’s Edna Kiplagat was the victor among the ladies.

But it’s not all about speed. Gebremariam and Kiplagat may have displayed some real athletic prowess, but they significantly lagged behind in the all-important “fashion statement” category. Shorts and a tank? Not very creative. Fortunately, some of their fellow runners were a little more ambitious. Have a look!
