This is so going on YouTube. Charlie O’Donnell, First Round Capital principal investor and general man-about-tech, has declared an INNOVATION COMMUNITY SNOWBALL FIGHT!
“Two years ago, we had 50 people come out to Madison Square Park to toss ice balls in each other’s ears,” O’Donnell wrote to the Innovation Community listserve, which keeps New York techies apprised of local happenings. “Let’s break that record!”
The snowball fight will take place at 2:30 p.m., followed by a gathering at Shake Shack.
The RSVPs have started coming in on Twitter, hashtag #techsnowball.
The event will doubtlessly be documented on Foursquare, as much of the blizzard already has, with the recently-enabled photo and comment features.
The only other event listed by O’Donnell this week is “Modeling Network Structure Using Graph Motifs.” Work hard, play hard, we guess.
