knicks 2 Nuthin but Internet: The Knicks Social Full Court Press Check-ins, game mechanics, Facebook, Twitter–the new New York Knicks fan site has it all, with mobile on the way.

The central feature of the new site,, is real-time Twitter and Facebook feeds from players, staff and fans, MediaPost reported. There’s also a full-time blogger covering the team.

The team’s marketing agency, MSG Sports, says the site is the first of its kind in the league. is also unusual in that the “Knicks Points” fans get for posting videos or photos from the site to Facebook are actually redeemable for decent stuff.

That’s right, not just badges! People can use Knicks Points to get away-game tickets, accessories, bench seats, autographed jerseys, join the pre-game shoot-around and possibly even have dinner with the players.
