Comcast and NBC Universal Give Employees Theme Park Tickets

To celebrate their sacred union, Comcast CEO Brian Roberts and NBC Universal CEO Steve Burke gave all their new employees 25 Comcast shares, a book about the acquisition, and Universal theme park tickets, reports The Wrap.

“The book is just one element of a gift package marking this occasion. Included is a certificate entitling you to 25 shares of stock in Comcast Corporation. Our hope is that you share ownership of this company and what we accomplish together. You’ll also find a free pass for you and your family to one of the Universal theme parks – because we want you to get to know all our businesses, and have some fun, too,” they wrote in a joint letter.

A few days at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter should ease the pain of impending layoffs. Just kidding–we know, “no massive layoffs.”

Also weird: Comcast took the space out of NBC Universal. It’s now NBCUniversal. :: @kstoeffel
