matt meeker Meetup's Matt Meeker Heads to the DogpatchDogpatch Labs has a new “entrepreneur in residence (EIR).”, Matt Meeker, the co-founder of Meetup.com.

Polaris says that Mr. Meeker will coordinate among entrepreneurs and startup founders. By his own reckoning, Meeker will “nurture innovation and expose it to as much like-minded entrepreneurial spirit as possible.”

Mr. Meeker may have his eyes on the path taken by Charlie O’Donnell, who was entrepreneur in residence for First Round Capital before becoming a principal late last year.
