On Monday's 'Gossip Girl,' Blair and Dan Start Internships at W

Back in November, we learned that at some point during this season of "Gossip Girl," the pretty-faced cast members would crane their necks up at 4 Times Square, zip up the Conde Nast building in a silver elevator, and walk into the W headquarters. Yes, they would soon endure the time-honored rich-kid tradition of interning at a Conde publication. But be careful, Upper East Siders -- The Tonchi also wears Prada.

We were pretty thrilled with the news. It's a perfect match, no? The mind wanders thinking of what that office would be like with Serena van der Woodsen walking around, fetching coffee, folding clothes -- doing anything really. (Her real-life counterpart, Blake Lively, has already graced the cover.)

Well now we've got the goods. A release today dished on how the foray into the magazine world will go down this Monday, when the episode airs. Serious spoilers ahead, guys.

The show filmed at W’s offices giving viewers an inside look at W’s fashion closet and Editor in Chief Stefano Tonchi’s office. Stefano, who makes a cameo appearance in the first episode, will be joined by other fashion VIP’s who have cameos in the coming weeks, coinciding with New York Fashion Week.

This Monday, Blair (Leighton Meester) is ecstatic to land an internship at W Magazine, but the thrill quickly fades when she finds out that Dan (Penn Badgley) has secured one of the coveted positions as well.

The repelling forces between Dan and Blair have always made for a delicious chemistry, but in last week's episode these two opposites started to attract. Will the fierce competition of the newsroom tear them apart or fan the flames?

We're rooting for the latter.
