New York’s ARC Angel Fund and several of its limited partners are participating in a $1 million investment in mobile marketing service provider Offermobi, TechCrunch reports.
Offermobi, which allows advertisers to pay based on the actions of an advertisement’s audience, launched in April 2010. The company plans on hiring for business development roles.
On its debut, Offermobi announced an inaugural partnership with Matthew Lesko, the guy with the question mark suit who goes on television to promise viewers he holds the secret to free money in the form of government grants. The company subsequently branched out to ink partnerships with College Quest, National American University, GameFly and Service Magic.
