Page Six led this morning with a story on the crisis at Bravo--a dull season of The Real Housewives of New York City! Long the class of the franchise (at least to those living in New York), the Housewives are said to have had a dry season. In light of the torrid goings-on in Beverly Hills--and the upcoming season of Housewives breakout Bethenny Frankel's own show--the series has been delayed at least a month, from February 15 to "March or April." Is our fair city doomed?

No, housewife Alex McCord tells the Observer. "One of the fantastic things is that we all know each other. We have gone deeper with each other than ever before." But what about that new cast member, waxing tycooness Cindy Barshop? "You have to wait and see. She brings something to the cast."

So all's fine, says Alex--the show was rushed into production, and was forced to slow down to finish the editing process, and Camille Grammer is not (as Page Six suggested) to join the cast. Alex, put our hearts at ease and tell us there's no tension between New York and the other Housewives franchises? Will you watch Miami, the show supplanting yours for a February start date? "I don't know yet. We'll try."
