GetMinders Revamps; Health Reminder App Is Now Two-Way

pillbox GetMinders Revamps; Health Reminder App Is Now Two WayGetMinders, a two-person startup working out of Dogpatch Labs, rolled out a major update to its beta testers today that gives a glimpse of what the mature app will be like.

GetMinders “puts your health in your hands by providing you health-related reminders, helping you identify and track your goals, and giving you the information and support you need to build healthier habits,” according to the website.

This is done with phone calls and text messages–“minders”–that prompt patients to take medicine or check blood sugar organized into a digital pillbox labeled with the days of the week. The site now lets users respond to minders–yes, I took my pill–and store that information online. The site also includes a “health dashboard,” which tracks metrics like blood sugar and monitors how mindful you’ve been.

GetMinders was cofounded be Jesse Middleton and Michael Oliver.
