Linda Stender (D-Fanwood)

Democrat Linda Stender, of Fanwood, was first elected to the New Jersey General Assembly on November 6, 2001.

Born July 25, 1951, Mrs. Stender received her Bachelor of Arts in interdisciplinary communications from American University.

Mrs. Stender and her husband, Richard, have three children: Caroline, Neil and Tyler; and one grandchild, Elizabeth Rose.

Mrs. Stender represents the 22nd Legislative District, which includes the Middlesex County municipalities of Dunellen and Middlesex; the Somerset County municipalities of Green Brook and North Plainfield; and the Union County municipalities of Fanwood, Linden, Plainfield, Rahway, Scotch Plains and Winfield.
