Rice awaits Cerf testimony at Tuesday hearing

TRENTON – Acting Education Commissioner Christopher Cerf (pictured) is scheduled Tuesday to go before the Joint Committee on Education co-chaired by state Sen. Ronald Rice (D-Newark).

“We don’t have any indication that they won’t be there,” Rice told PolitickerNJ.com, referring to Cerf and Marc Larkins, CEO of the New Jersey Schools Development Authority.

The 1 p.m. hearing is scheduled for Room 16 in the Statehouse Annex.

“No comment,” Education Department Spokesman Alan Guenther said, when asked if Cerf will attend the hearing.
