In his latest letter, the former Republican gubernatorial candidate makes clear his unhappiness with former campaign aides Michael Caputo and others who worked on his campaign.
“My campaign owes nothing to Michael Caputo or his band of parasitic malcontents,” Paladino writes, in response to a Buffalo News story about unpaid campaign bills.
“People with legitimate campaign obligations were paid in full. The scam artists can sue us,” Paladino writes. He also makes the (valid?) point that the paper overplayed the story about him, putting it above the news about the devestation in Japan.
I guess this kind of public breakup is always the potential downside when going to work for a wealthy, unconventional candidate.
