In the paper this week, David Freedlander and I look at the people surrounding Donald Trump and his quasi-campaign. Key among them is adviser Michael Cohen, an attorney who, back in 2003, ran for City Council against Eva Moskoiwtz of Manhattan.
In this flier from Cohen’s campaign at the time, he attacked Moskowitz for missing “30 percent of critical Council votes” including ones related to rent stabilization laws (which, technically, are state laws, but I digress).
Moskowitz defended herself from the absenteeism complaint by noting she had just given birth to her son.
