Congressman Anthony Weiner finally likes what he's seeing from the White House.

Weiner just issued a pre-emptive press release praising President Obama for going on the offensive against the Republican fiscal plan.

"Now it's our turn," Weiner said in the statement. "For months, we have heard the one-note attacks by the GOP on the middle class and those struggling to make it. Medicare, student loans and women's health have all been under attack."

"Today, we go on offense."

Weiner has been preaching offense for some time now, urging the White House to fight more aggressively, and making himself something of a liberal hero in the process.

What exactly Weiner likes will have to wait. The details of the president's plan are embargoed until his speech at 1:30 p.m., but you can follow Weiner's reaction on his Twitter account.
