Likely Bedfellows: Ace Hotel Teams Up with Google for Guests

This Tribeca townhouse is so hip it looks like it’s from the future. There’s exposed brick everywhere, a glass staircase, bold-colored walls and lots of shiny metal. It’s far from homey, but it’s definitely a trophy you can brag about to all your Upper East Side friends.

At $45 million—well above the downtown record—you’ll get the entire property, including three rental units, commercial space, a gym and the owner’s living unit, which comprises three floors and 2,775 square feet of outdoor space. In total, the “LOFT MANSION” boasts about 23,000 square feet. Sound like a bargain yet?

One thing the listing does not clarify is whether or not the rental and commercial space is currently occupied. If not, good luck finding tenants to help you pay off that outrageous mortgage.

  • Back Forward Impressive entrance, but the far wall could probably use some more picture frames. There are far too few.

  • Back Forward No cupboards? You'd better get some artful dishware, 'cause it's going to be on display.
