Breed of Singing Apes Inspires List About Other Musical Monkeys

In today’s monkey news, German newspaper Der Spiegel reports that a rare colony of gibbons living near the Vietnam-Laos border are singing together. Apparently, they have good pitch and sometimes sing duets. They eat mostly fruit and leaves and they’ll be here all week people.

Well, that last joke was a bit tasteless. Apparently, the monkeys are close to extinction. They have inspired a great deal of interest among scientists, though.
