During Weiner Scandal, Liu Raised $205,675

Anthony Weiner’s political demise was rapid and, a boon to everyone else in the race. How much though, is hard to quantify.

But not impossible.

City Comptroller John Liu raised $205,675 between May 27, 2011 — the night the picture of Weiner’s crotch was accidentally sent to a woman in Seattle, kicking off the firestorm — and the day Weiner resigned, on June 17, 2011.
