Page Six reports that Anna Wintour is planning to publish a memoir about her years at Vogue, a rite of passage undergone by her predecessors Diana Vreeland and Grace Mirabella. While representatives for the editor deny Ms. Wintour’s plans to write a memoir, the Page Sixers do cite recent instances of Ms. Wintour opening up to the world–sitting for long profiles and a documentary. The question remaining for Page Six is the author of Ms. Wintour’s foreword, though fashion designers need not start writing drafts: Ms. Mirabella’s memoir did not feature a foreword, and Ms. Vreeland’s foreword was by an actress who played her onstage.
