Normal Heart Going, Master Class Arriving On Broadway

It’s a week of mixed results for theater lovers–the much-decorated revival of The Normal Heart is to close, as scheduled, on Sunday, after a 12-week run that was bedecked with Tonys and brought playwright Larry Kramer to a level of cultural prominence unprecedented in recent years.

Theatergoers looking for gay fantasia to replace the much-loved tragedy of gay history can drop by the Tyne Daly-led Master Class, which places the Tony-winning actress in the iconic diva role of Maria Callas; the opening is tonight.
