Quinn Camp: $1.32 M. Raised This Filing

City Council Speaker Christine Quinn had her best fund-raising period ever, an aide said, raising $1.32 million.

During that same period — from January 12 to July 11 — Quinn spent $80,000, leaving her with about $4 million, according to a campaign aide. This person, who asked not to be named, said the filing was the best ever for the Council Speaker, and that she raised a lot in the last six weeks.

Other likely 2013 mayoral candidates are touting their fund-raising numbers this filing period, including Manhattan Borough Scott Stringer who raised $655,000 “since the start of the year,” the Daily News reported.
