This Sutton Place townhouse sure is committed to matching patterns. Two rooms, pictures of which are included in this listing, have patterned furniture that exactly matches the patterned wallpaper and curtains, which gives the rooms a bit of a crazy-funhouse look.

And there is certainly no shortage of places to sit in this house. It has plenty of rooms filled with couches and chairs—seven, if our count based on the listing images is correct. And we can’t figure out which room is designated for which purpose.

The five-floor townhouse (square-footage is not specified) is asking $8.5 million. It has a garden, views of the river, a terrace and a wine cellar.

I would love to see someone in a matching suit sitting on that sofa that matches the wallpaper.

Lovely property. Perhaps with some redecorating it would make someone a great home.
