It’s been a rough couple weeks for fashion house Halston. Rumors have been swirling today that Jimmy Choo exec Tamara Mellon is set to leave the perpetually troubled clothing brand.

Ms. Mellon’s departure comes on the heels of two other big losses for the company. Last week Sarah Jessica Parker and Harvey Weinstein both announced their resignations from the label. Ms. Parker was the chief creative director for the Halston Herigage brand, while The Weinstein Company purchased Halston in partnership with a Hilco Consumer Capital in 2007. Hilco has taken control of the label in the wake of Weinstein’s abrupt exit.

Ms. Parker had been with the label for little over a year before her departure. Reports suggested that the firing of Bonnie Takhar, the company’s CEO, last Fall did not sit well with the actress. Ms. Parker’s profile in this month’s issue of Vogue curtly refers to the split, mentioning only that she has been involved in many fashion enterprises including “signing on to run the Halston Heritage label, a relationship that recently came to an end.”

Although famous for his Hollywood handiwork, Weinstein has longstanding ties to the fashion industry. The movie mogul is married to Marchessa co-founder Georgina Chapman and is the executive producer of Project Runway. Will there be more fashion in Mr. Weinstein’s future or has the whole Halston affair turned his taste for the industry sour?
