Chris Matthews Wonders: Gillibrand for Governor? [Video]

This Plaza penthouse is a bit cold and impersonal, but, man, does it look cool. Wide-open space, white walls and high ceilings make the place seem a bit institutional (not really a comforting place to call home), but look at that view! And it has plenty of space (four bedrooms and a terrace) for looking out at it.

The apartment is 6,319 square feet, including a 95-square-foot pantry and wine cellar, a private elevator, a wood-paneled dressing room and oak parquet floors throughout. All of those features will, however, set you back $37.5 million.

That is just disgusting! The Plaza was, and still is an icon, although greatly diminished and ruined by Elad’s tinkering. Don’t fix what isn’t broken. What were beautiful, traditional, historic, and luxurious well made guestrooms have now been made into ugly, cheap, and poorly made cookie-cutter guestrooms claiming to live up the the Plaza’s pre-Elad reputation. This penthouse whould be a crime. They destroyed a beautiful space and made into this crap. This penthouse is not the Plaza I know or love. Hopefully, someway or somehow all of this can be reversed and the plaza can again become THE PLAZA.
