“ENDURING DESIGN”? Not if the zen trend ever fades. This Soho penthouse looks like the picture of serenity, but you’ll have to get used to being low to the ground. The bed in one of the bedrooms (maybe the master suite) is built into the floor, and the couches in the living room are also near the floor. There’s also a life-sized rock garden in a courtyard and a strip of fireplace that stretches across a living room wall. What more could you need to relax?

Unfortunately, all that decompressing will come at a cost of $16 million. But you get 3,500 square feet, three bedrooms, private terraces and an outdoor kitchen.
