If you only saw one Bryant Park show this week, we hope it was Cowgirl Riders Debutante Fashion Show. With guests like Toddlers and Tiaras’ retired superstar Eden Wood and former Real Housewives of New York star Kelly Bensimon, the show was a spectacle in the true sense of the word.

Hosted by children’s clothing line Cicciabella, the show featured adorable children performing in cowboy hats and over-sized boots, but they were overshadowed by the Kindergarten-aged Wood, a veteran star of the pageant circuit, who performed booty-shaking maneuvers while dressed like Madonna and a midriff-baring Barbie.

Ms. Bensimon responded to critics who claim that the sexualization of babies is a bad thing, saying they need to remember to “keep everything in a proper frame of reference,” according to a New York Post article today. For background: The reality show star is best known for garnering the highest ratings for New York’s Housewives during an on-air altercation with Bethenny Frankel and suffering a subsequent nervous breakdown “breakthrough” during an episode entitled “Sun, Sand, and Psychosis.”
