Not a deed. (Telegraph)

Music exec Allen Klein is best known for screwing the Rolling Stones and breaking up the Beatles. After a hard day's night working for these men, Klein called a four-bedroom apartment at The Sovereign on Sutton Place home. Klein, who also worked with Sam Cooke, the Kinks and the Animals, died in 2009, and his estate has now sold this and an adjacent apartment for $4.6 million

"You know the space lends itself to doing different things," Douglas Elliman broker Marilyn Wexler told The Observer. "The views on that floor are just magnificent. It was full city, it was river, it was bridges." No mixed emotions there.

The view from Klein's former apartment

Her listing with fellow Elliman broker Audrey Ruden expounds on the space: the three-bedroom, 4.5-bath co-op features a "sprawling double size living room, large balcony, spacious formal dining room [and] windowed eat-in-kitchen with separate laundry room." According to floor plans, the 263-square-foot master bedroom includes a massive walk-in-closet. While the master bath is comparatively modest, an adjacent "jacuzzi room" is available for jet-infused soak sessions. Kinky!

Klein also owned the neighboring one-bedroom unit, which was owned by ABKCO and used by his coterie of rockstar clients—oh, the stories that must be in those walls. "One was a business apartment, one was a personal apartment," Ms. Wexler told The Observer.

The bigger home was on the market for an even $4 million, the smaller one for $1.2 million. Both were purchased by Heather and Ali Khazaneh, a diamond dealer active in the art market. Clearly satisfied, the Khazaneh's would be fools to cry over the deal they got, saving $600,000 less than the ask for a total of four bedrooms, six bathrooms and views to die for.
