Lucien Freud's Last Painting Will Go on Display in London

Lucien Freud’s just-slightly-unfinished final piece Portrait of the Hound will be among 200 works on display at his upcoming show at the London Portrait Gallery this February, The Independent reports.

The final painting depicts “[Freud’s] assistant David Dawson and his faithful whippet Eli,” according to the paper. Before his death this past July, Freud had been working on the piece for the last four years.
