Last week, Mitt Romney announced that former Staten Island borough president Guy Molinari was backing him for president.
Today, they added another Molinari to their list of endorsements: Guy’s daughter, Susan Molinari.
Ms. Molinari was a Congresswoman representing Staten Island in the 1990’s and is now a lobbyist. She considered mounting a campaign against Kirsten Gillibrand in 2010.
“Obama’s big government spending has failed to get Americans back to work,” Ms. Molinari said. “Mitt Romney understands what it will take to improve our economy. His sound economic plan is based on his real world experience as a successful businessman. As Governor of Massachusetts, he reined in spending and balanced the budget without raising taxes. Washington needs this kind of principled and pragmatic leadership.”
