Over the weekend, stars and socialites alike got their freak on at various Halloween parties around town. Bette Midler’s Hulaween fete was a hot ticket, drawing a particularly celebrity heavy crowd. Guests included Martha Stewart, Debra Messing, Michael Kors, Carmelo Anthony and Stevie Wonder, who gave a special performance for the occasion.   The event, held at the Waldorf Astoria, benefited The New York Restoration Project, a charity organization Ms. Midler started in 1995 to restore parks around the city.
