After weeks of speculation in the New York Post, a denial in WWD, and some confident tweets, Michael Wolff is leaving his post as editorial director of Adweek, Prometheus Media announced on the trade magazine’s website today.
Executive editor Jim Cooper will oversee day to day operations of Adweek.
“We are grateful for Michael’s contribution to Adweek,” said Jimmy Finkelstein, Prometheus chairman. “His vision and guidance were essential during our monumental transformation.”
