Former Staten Island borough president Guy Molinari is backing Mitt Romney for president, Carl Campanile reports.
Mr. Molinari has been out of office for nearly a decade now, but he remains a major political figure on Staten Island, helping to engineer to come-from-behind congressional victory of Michael Grimm in 2010.
He tells The Post “Romney give us the best chance of winning back the White House. I’m on board.”
Molinari is also close to Rudy Giuliani, which seems to signal that he is at last decided not to run for president this year.
