TRENTON – Even the governor wasn’t immune from the power outage that hit New Jersey as a result of the weekend storm.
Gov. Chris Christie’s Mendham Township home was out of power from Saturday afternoon to Sunday night.
Still, he, his wife and four children passed the time well, reading, playing board games and cards.
He said it was real cold.
On Sunday, he said he and the boys attended the Giants-Dolphins game at the Met Life Stadium.
The family spent the night at Drumthwacket, the governor’s mansion in Princeton Township, which itself saw a power outage at 10:15 p.m.
They fired up frozen pizzas on the grill and ate that for dinner, he said.
