Amazon Names Its Favorite Books of 2011

List season is so much fun! Publishers Weekly gave their nominations yesterday. Today it’s Amazon, with Chad Harbach’s The Art of Fielding in first place, Haruki Murakami’s 1Q84 in second and Karl Marlante’s non-fiction book What is it Like to Go to War in third. Plus 97 other books. Too bad Mr. Murakami still has all those one-star reviews from when the cloud malfunctioned (although each one now has an explanation from Amazon appended).
