Armed With Court Order, Occupy Wall Street Protesters Surround Zuccotti

Hundreds of protesters have surrounded a spic-and-span Zuccotti Park hours after the two-month-old Occupy Wall Street encampment was raided by NYPD officers and dismantled.

A hearing on whether demonstrators will be allowed to return and again set up tents is expected at 11:30 a.m.

“Cops are the ones illegally occupying the park now,” noted one protester holding a copy of the State Supreme Court’s temporary restraining order. “They are very good at it.”
