Ah, Thanksgiving: that wonderful time of year that really proves the old adage "You can never go home again...unless you bring an entire bottle of Valium, keep your therapist's number on speed dial, and remember never to make eye contact with your father."

But in addition to holiday traditions like turkey, football, and screaming matches followed by an hour or two of terse silence, Thanksgiving is also a time to reflect on what we're truly thankful for. As New Yorkers, we pride ourselves on both our fatalism as well as our short attention spans, so what better way to celebrate the holiday than by trying to come up with 100 (that's right 100!) things that we absolutely love about city life. From food trucks to "suggested donations" at museums, helipads and David Chang, and yes...even Occupy Wall Street...we found a lot of reasons to be grateful for this year.
