Time Warner named digital ad executive Laura Lang ceo of Time Inc. yesterday, concluding a leisurely eight month search following the surprisingly public firing of Jack Griffin.
Judging from a Q&A with Adweek, her arrival does not signal the end of candor among Time Warner execs. Either that, or she and her predecessor simply forgot to confer on the status of their relationship before the barrage of press.
“I know Laura Lang and have great respect for her,” the diplomatic Jack Griffin told WWD.
“I don’t know Jack Griffin,” Laura Lang told Adweek.
