Rick Perry Soldiers On With New South Carolina Ad

Texas Governor Rick Perry returned home to Texas to “reassess” his campaign after his fifth place finish in the Iowa caucus Tuesday night. Though he left the campaign trail, Mr. Perry hasn’t decided to give up just yet. Governor Perry is the conservatives’ best option. But they need to realize this! It will likely take a endorsement from a key conservative or two. The Tea Party Patriots should also endorse Perry. They have been strangely silent in this race. They were originally all about “fiscal conservatism.” We are seeing many Tea Parties, such as the one in Iowa, drifting toward social conservatism. This is a dead end that will result in the end of the Tea party! Social conservatism is great! But many Tea Party members joined because they wanted to put the countries “fiscal house in order.” Rick Perry is the only candidate in the Republican field who has demonstrated that he will do this. Rick Santorum is a social conservative. But his record reflects that he is anything but a fiscal conservative. Like Newt Gingrich, Senator Santorum is a “neo-conservative.” Rick Perry is a “constitutional conservative.” The sad thing for Republicans is that the entire conservative “squabble” is helping Mitt Romney.  Romney is a “”R.I.N.O.” But he will be the nominee unless some high profile conservatives get off the fence and  support Perry!
