Apparently international politicos in search of a townhouse for house arrest are in short supply these days. Though brokers had hoped to use the tabloid attention to help sell 153 Franklin Street, the strategy has so far failed.

The now-infamous Tribeca townhouse, originally listed in 2009 for $14.995 million, has seen its price knocked down $1.5 million once before, and now it has tumbled that far yet again, as desperate for a sale as its previous occupant was for sex.

The DSK townhouse can now be your, ignominy and all, for $11.95 million, the Wall Street Journal reports. The broker, Robert Dvorin of Town Residential claims the property hasn't yet sold because of it's singular design, the result of a recent renovation.

"It is a one-of-a-kind home—I would call it a work of art," he said. "It isn't your cookie-cutter home, and people feel they have to like everything about it. "

As it stands now, the current owner may lose money on the deal. Michael Marvisi, a developer and landlord, paid $6.79 million for the property back in 2008, but promptly gave it a $4 million facelift.
