Welcome to Washington, D.C.!

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The bipartisan band detrained a short time ago at Union Station and soon the unsuspecting streets of the nation’s capital teemed with the ravages of New Jersey politics.

PolitickerNJ.com heard someone say the word “Norcross” and looked up to see two insiders huddled up at the Marriott.

Former Gov. Brendan Byrne and his wife arrived via the same metro that brought in Paterson Mayor Jeff Jones and Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick (R-21).

When the train disgorged, the crowd serendipitously jumbled together two statewide brands from either side of the aisle: state Sen. Joe Kyrillos (R-13) (2012 U.S. Senate candidate) and state Sen. Barbara Buono (D-18) (potential 2013 gubernatorial candidate).
