Entertainment Weekly reports that CBS has ordered a comedy pilot about young gents starting their careers at Groupon. This is all well and good–we’d watch it, if we got a particularly witty email. But we think it’s time for MORE tech companies to get television pilots–and we have a few loglines for networks we think could use them!

  • Back Forward Facebook

    Facebook

"TL:SV—Tech Law, Silicon Valley," CBS, Tuesday nights at 10. Logline: “Crusading twin tech pioneers Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss teams up with a group of attractive young lawyers to bring down the corporation that the twins believe stole their ideas and left them (very nearly!) penniless. The twins focus on taking down a different executive each week in this procedural, with the ultimate goal of getting at the villainous Mark Zuckerberg (who will be dispatched in the season finale).

  • Back Forward Tumblr

    Tumblr

"The Alleys," MTV, Thursday nights at 10:30. Logline: “The lives and loves of a Silicon Alley tech office staffed by sexy twentysomethings—including the charismatic wunderkind who has to deal with outages on his servers as well as a rotating cast of special-guest-star celebrities. (Currently casting for an Andrew Garfield type.)”

  • Back Forward MySpace

    MySpace

"Down But Not Out!," ABC, Wednesday nights at 8:30. Logline: “This Roseanne-inspired drama looks at the lives of American workers trying to pull their company up by its bootstraps. Lots of fun music in this look at how tech’s underclass gets by.”

  • Back Forward Seamless

    Seamless

"America’s Best Delivery," Food Network, Friday nights at 7. Logline: “This documentary series looks at the best Thai restaurants and salad specialists in America! Each episode will take on a different metropolitan area and analyzes the qualities of each red curry or Cobb salad with no egg (little variation) and how long it takes to get to an office (varies widely!).”

  • Back Forward Yelp.

    Yelp.

The last ten minutes of "60 Minutes," CBS, Sunday nights at 7:50. A rotating crew of curmudgeons ask why food is so spicy, service is so bad, and the lights are so bright. A fine replacement for Andy Rooney!

  • Back Forward Google.

    Google.

"The Colossus," Syfy, Saturday nights at 10. Logline: “This dystopic series looks at a robotic hive-mind that grows self-aware and declares war on the humans.”

  • Back The Huffington Post.

    The Huffington Post.

Arianna Huffington calls in, C-SPAN, every afternoon around 3:15pm. Logline: “Arianna Huffington calls in live to the C-SPAN studio and talks for about 15 minutes regarding the most recent headline she read and whether John Boehner has charisma.”
