Matthew Weiner, the auteur of Mad Men, is set to direct his debut film, to be titled You Are Here. It's to star Owen Wilson and Zach Galifianakis, with Amy Poehler reportedly "in negotiations." (Say yes, Amy!) Mr. Weiner is to work on the project between Mad Men seasons' shooting. If he works quickly enough, he miiiight just beat David Chase, Sopranos creator and his former boss, who's finally crossing the rubicon with a film that's set to come out in October. The golden age of TV is inflecting our cinemas! As soon as Boardwalk Empire director Martin Scorsese makes a movie, we'll know it's a trend. (Hey, wait a second...)
