Zynga Filing Confirms OMGPOP Got a 10x Return for Investors

Isn’t it fun when companies are public? Zynga has disclosed the price it paid for OMGPOP in a new filing with the SEC required for its secondary offering and unearthed by TechCrunch. “On March 21, 2012, we acquired 100% of the outstanding stock of OMGPOP, Inc., a provider of social games for mobile phones, tablets and PCs, for purchase consideration of approximately $180 million in cash,” Zynga said in the filing.
