The New York Times Magazine has a nice feature about Jeffrey Deitch’s “Party House.” Incidentally, it looks a little like Pee Wee’s Playhouse.
He has a table by artist Urs Fischer, a really weird couch that we couldn’t imagine ever sitting on by Gaetano Pesce and a piano by Michel Gondry that “when you push down the key, it plays a videotape with audio of someone playing that note in 88 locations around the world, one for each key.” Woah. Also, he hangs out with Gus Van Sant.
The house, he says, can entertain up to 100 people at a time. Mr. Deitch, if you ever find yourself with only 99 people at your party, please give us a call. We take our whiskey neat.
