U.S. House Budget Chairman and national conservative leader Paul Ryan (R-WI) endorsed Leonard Lance for Congress today, saying few in Congress are better prepared to tackle the tough fiscal issues facing the nation than Lance.
“Leonard Lance is fighting with me to get our nation’s economy growing again through pro-growth tax reform, getting federal spending under control and strengthening entitlement programs for future generations,” Ryan said of the incumbent congressman in the 7th District.
Lance is fighting Tewksbury businessman David Larsen in the Republican Primary. Larsen is running to Lance’s right.
A conservative star nationally, Ryan called on 7th District Republicans to re-elect Lance.
“Few in Congress are better prepared to reform our tax code, repeal and replace ObamaCare, balance the federal budget, and create new jobs than Leonard Lance is. On June 5 I ask that you vote to re-elect Leonard Lance to Congress,” said the Wisconsin lawmaker.
