Musical of the Year Tony nominee Leap of Faith is to close Sunday after an intensely crowded pre-nominations eligibility period choked off audiences. Its run will have only been 20 regular performances, and the Times speculates that its cast may not perform a number on the Tonys telecast, the traditional prerogative of all nominees.

Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark, not nominated for the top Tony, is still open.
